Hannah Lavery is a Dunbar-based writer who has had stories, poems and blogs published by The Scottish Book Trust, The Fat Damsel, and Appletree Press, and has had two short plays read at the Traverse Theatre as part of Words, Words, Words. She is also Creative Director of Dunbar’s CoastWord festival and is founding member of The Writing Mums and Bowdy Kite Books.
Her multi-artform performance The Drift is a meditation on the final loss of an absent father, a very personal journey into grief, heritage, and legacy. Letting go and holding on to what makes, what drives and what wounds you.
